Galapagos has more than 20 islands of different sizes and many islets. However, not all of them are inhabitaed and some are way too far and only reachable by a cruise or through an authorised daily tour with a Guide.
The main Islands in Galapagos are Isabela Island, Santa Cruz Island and San Cristobal. These are the most populated ones and where people live. They are full of commercial and touristic activities. These islands are the easiest to access because they have ports and airports.
During your trip to Galapagos, we recommend at least 7 days to be able to go visit all of them and even a few more during a daily trip. Here’s a quick guide of what you can do on each of these Islands, with tours and recommendations for free activities.
